About The Attic

www.the-attic.org

The Attic offers a unique educational experience for homeschoolers ages 3 -18, one which supports a sense of self, a passion for learning, community, and  childhood through our K-12 program and the Field & Forest Outdoor program. Many educative practices go into creating our progressive educative model. We offer a low child:teacher ratio in a multiage environment. Our teachers are passionate, committed to each and every child. We understand the importance of freedom within structure, and of developmentally-appropriate education. Core classes meet three days per week, Monday through Wednesday, to give children and their families time to pursue their interests.   Special programs meet on Thursday and Friday. Above all, the Attic does not use grades, rewards, or punishments.  This supports the development of intrinsic motivation, a key Attic value.

We invite you to read more about the Attic Learning Community and the Field & Forest Outdoor Programs.

Pacific NW Homeschool College Fair

TBD: Fall 2019
Presented by The Attic Learning Community

The Attic Learning Community is pleased to present the annual Pacific NW Homeschool College Fair to benefit college-bound homeschoolers and their families. Finding the best fit college can seem daunting. The Pacific NW Homeschool College Fair helps in two ways:

First, the fair allows for the college-bound homeschooler to meet college representatives from all over the United States and Canada in a small, more intimate setting than a traditional college fair typically provides.

Second, our informational seminars are invaluable as you embark on the college-bound journey.  With topics such as Essay Writing, Scholarships, Gap Year, and more, you're sure to find helpful information - and have a chance to ask questions.
